Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday claimed that India had failed to provide any concrete evidence and accused New Delhi of “falsely" attempting to link Islamabad to the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 people.
The Pakistan-based Lashkar terrorists claimed responsibility for the attack on tourists in the scenic Baisaran meadow in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22. Following the incident, India announced a series of punitive measures against Islamabad.
