Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus wishes that the Rohingyas should celebrate next year's Eid back in their homes in Myanmar, while addressing an iftar party arranged in honor of visiting United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, he sought UN's assistance to combat "misinformation" targeted at Bangladesh.

"They want to invite you [Guterres] back home next year to celebrate Eid with them in their homes [in Myanmar]," Yunus added.

Targeted at Bangladesh, misinformation and disinformation are created every moment, on disinformation propaganda against Bangladesh, Yunus sought UN's help.

"We need your support, particularly to battle misinformation. …

All we are saying is protect us from misinformation, and we can do the rest," Yunus added.
